After going through cataract surgery a few years back, I kept saying I was done with black and white stuff. One of the effects of this type of surgery is that all the color jumps out at you. After seeing what I’ve been missing, I wanted to take advantage of all the opportunities to enjoy colors. But, every now and again, I still come across an image that just has a different feel to it in black and white.
For the curious, this was shot on my iPhone in the remote small Missouri (USA) town of Mountain Grove, population 4,000.
I’m revisiting the black and white in this one – shoot photos, not each other!
