I had my earphones on and the song came up – “Every Breath You Take” by The Police.
Suddenly I see this lamp and it looks as though it’s smiling at me in a slightly mischievous way, right at the end of the song where Sting says “I’ll be watching you….”
The sun was poking through the blinds just right. I seriously considering making this black and white, but instead settled on very muted color. I have a tendency to turn saturation way, way up.
Ironic that the ground breaking album for which this song appears (Synchronicity) turned 40 last week.
