I was at a pharmacy one day. I made it to the counter to pick up my prescriptions and this note, written on the back of a cash advance receipt, was just sitting at the counter. It was very moving at the time. I didn’t keep it. Since it had financial information on the other side, the lady working that day dutifully took it and shredded it to protect customer privacy. Before she did that, I took a picture on my iPhone.
This is usually where I give a bit of technical commentary about how I did this and that. Photos rarely, if ever, just come right out of the camera looking exactly what you imagined them looking like when you took them. In this case, though, the picture came straight off my phone. Aside from watermarking, I did nothing else to it.
A deep thought, and a good one. Perhaps if you take the time to shoot photos, not each other, then time will indeed be a gift.
