Along time ago, in a university far, far away….
In the year 2001, after a long and tumultuous war with the mighty titans of academia, the time had finally come to depart the site of the bloodiest of academic battles at the venerable George Mason University. This building, Enterprise Hall, which, as a lifelong fan of Star Trek, I often called “The Enterprise,” was shot the day of the last capstone course final exam in December of 2001. It was at 6:30 in the morning, and this was as I was leaving, having completed the examination around 8. It took place on the second floor by the window to the left of the glass pyramid. For the first time, I went to the campus coffee shop without thinking of plans for the day. There was simply nothing to do. Except, perhaps, shooting photos and not each other!
