New Hibiscus

This hisbiscus was on our front sidewalk. I have no idea where it came from, but I know I didn’t plant them. But, now it’s been captured! Interestingly, I am trying a new filter in the darktable software – the “velvia” filter. It’s said to make photos look as they would if you’d have shot them on the legendary Fuji Velvia slide film. I have never used this film – it’s much too expensive and difficult to get for me. Accurate? I’m afraid I couldn’t tell you. But, I did focus this manually! Shoot photos, not each other!
